Menu Selection: Document - Setup - Users
Purpose
This document allows users to be established in the LILAC database, and to establish passwords, levels of authority, and authorised hosts for each user.
Prerequisites
This document is only available at level 7. So the user must have level 7 authority or higher.
Authorised hosts must already be established via the Setup - Hosts document.
Context
Use this document to add, delete or edit a users authority details. Additional control for users is given in the Documents - Setup - User Permissions document. Report authority level defaults can be changed via the Documents - Parameters - Reporting Permissions document.
About This Screen
| Field | Enterable? | Instructions |
| User | Yes | Type in the username that the user will sign into LILAC with. |
| Name | Yes | Type in the full name of the user. |
| Authority | Yes | Type in the maximum level of authority. Specifying no level of authority will prevent the user from signing in. |
| Password | Yes | Type in the password required by this user. Leave blank for no password. |
| Authorised Host | Yes | Press the F12 button (or right mouse click) and select the authorised host from which this user can sign in. If no host is selected, the user will be allowed to sign in from any computer. |

Once users have been established the will now be able to sign in to LILAC and gain access to the LILAC documents and reports.
