Purpose
This document allows the user to erase nil stock barcodes for products.
Prerequisites
There are no prerequisites to cleaning up stock.
Context
During the course of using the barcode scanning features in LILAC, the database may become bloated with nil stock barcodes. Nil stock barcodes are barcodes that have no balance of stock. Basically if the number of sales and transfer out's equals the number of purchases, transfer ins, and returns. These just use up space in the database, and can be erased if required.
If the barcodes are erased the ability to report on them is lost, so you should do any sales analysis reports before cleaning up the stock.

Transaction Processing
| Button | Description |
| Clean Up! | Clicking the Clean Up! button will determine which barcodes have nil stock, and will erase them. |

While a Utility - Reindex isn't necessary, doing one will reclaim the space that was used by the barcode records.
