Purpose
This document allows the user to update the standard cost of Bill of Material products.
Prerequisites
At least one Bill of Material product must exist in the LILAC database. This can be done by via the Stock - Bill Of Materials document.
Context
This document allows the user to update the standard cost of Bill of Material products in the current company.
For Bill of Material products that are made up of Bill of Material products, the Level field specifies the depth to go to when updating the Bill of Material products.
This function is the same as using the Update button in the Stock - Bill Of Materials document, except that it can be done over all Bill of Material products.
About This Screen
| Field | Enterable? | Instructions |
| User | No | Displays the key for the user whom is updating the Bill Of Materials. |
| From Product | Yes | Type in the beginning Bill of Material’s key (or click the right mouse button) and select the key from the list. |
| To Product | Yes | Type in the ending Bill of Material’s key (or click the right mouse button) and select the key from the list. |
| Levels | Yes | Specify the number of BoM Levels to update. The maximum level allowed is 6, and the minimum allowed is 1. If the user types in a level that exceeds 6, then the software uses 6 levels. If the user types in a level less than 1 (or leaves this field blank), then the software uses 1 level. |
Transaction Processing

| Update | Clicking the Update button updates the standard cost of all Bill of Material products in the range of the From Product and To Product fields (inclusive). |
