Purpose

This document allows the user to define debtors turnover classes.

Prerequisites

There are no prerequisites to setting up turnover classes.

Context

A turnover class classifies a debtor by the amount that they have purchased (in dollar value), in the last twelve months. The report Reports - Debtors - Classify By Turnover can automatically update this field.

The Upper field supports up to 7 characters. This field represents the upper bound on the class. Below is a sample turnover definition

0000500 for turnover up to $500
0001000 for turnover from $501 to $1000
0010000 for turnover from $1001 to $10000
9999999 for turnover from $10001 to $9999999

Upper	Yes	Type in the new the upper range of a turnover class.
Description	Yes	Type in the description of this turnover class.

From here you can run Reports - Debtors - Classify By Turnover, or manually update the debtor's turnover class, by going to the Debtors - Account document.
