Purpose

This document allows the user to customize the product types available on the Schedule - Help Desk document.

Prerequisites

There are no prerequisites to setting up product types.

Context

The Schedule - Help Desk document, allows the user to enter in a task into the database. The Priority field which appears on this document defines the product type for which the help desk document exists for.

About This Screen

Field Enterable? Instructions
Product Type Yes Type in the new product type key.
Product Name Yes Type in a description of the product type.

Make sure that other help desk parameters are established (Parameters - Help Desk - Help Type, Parameters - Help Desk - Priority), and then you will be able to use the Schedule - Help Desk document.
