Purpose
This document provides the user with the ability to establish and modify carriers.
Prerequisites
There are no prerequisites to setting up carriers.
Context
Carriers are established to specify the shipping company to be used when freighting goods. If you establish both carriers, and the Post Code Freight Rate for the established carriers, then the sales order document can automatically calculate the freight charges.
An ActiveServer carrier is established initially. This carrier is then used in ActiveServer to automatically calculate freight costs.
About This Screen

| Carrier | Yes | Type in the new carrier key. |
| Carrier Name | Yes | Enter in the name of the carrier. |
| Cubic Rate | Yes | Type in the number of kilograms that make up a cubic meter. This value will vary from company to company, but it is typically 180. |
