LILAC Report Proxy Server

3389 Remote Desktop

Setup your DSL router with a single static (WAN) public IP address using port address translation to a single computer on the local area network with a static IP address of 192.168.0.1 Alternatively if your server is directly routed to the Public Internet (or a private Intranet) make sure that the LILAC ports are enabled for inbound connections in any firewall operating on your server.

Ports 10, 2001 & 3001 provide Client Server access to users of our LILAC 3 product, and the other ports allow our clients to host email, FTP and HTTP servers if required.

If you wish Lennox Computer to manage your server remotely you should enable port 3389 through your firewall or router.

LILAC Setup

To allow access to run reports on a  LILAC server from an external location, where the LILAC server is behind a DSL NAT/PAT protection, in the Setup - Company document set: -

TCPR Port to 4001

Report Proxy to 3001

Restart action after such changes.
